Partner, William J. (Bill) Wardell, Q.C. is an advocate for solar power and is a proponent for the use of electric vehicles. Bill and his wife Florence commute from their farm to Saskatoon in their Chevrolet Volt.
Bill was recently featured in an article in the Star Phoenix for his work with the Saskatchewan Environment Society (“SES”) and his passion for the promotion and use of solar power.
Bill is a member of the SES, who are partnering with Sun Country Highway, the Saskatchewan Research Council, the University of Saskatchewan Car Share Program, Saskatoon Light & Power and the Saskatoon Car Share Co-operative for a new solar power initiative. Sun Country Highway, SES and partners are working towards the implementation of a car share pilot project that hopes to make electric vehicles available to car share groups in Saskatoon.
